Holbox Island has a rich birdlife.
This island is considered a virgin tourist destination, even through its proximity well known to touristic spots like Cancún. Most of this island's inhabitants are fishermen.

This pyramid is well knows for its feathered serpent sculptures at the base of its stairways and how shadows simulate the movement of a snake.
